Connect Groups
Connect Groups are friendly, volunteer-led monthly gatherings where people share experiences, support each other, and build confidence. You are not alone. Support and hope are here.

What to expect
Connecting with others who understand. Life after a concussion or brain injury can feel isolating. Talking with someone who truly understands—someone who has walked a similar path—can make all the difference. Their story can remind you that recovery takes time, is rarely a straight line, and that there is hope.
Research shows that connecting with peers – people with lived experience of brain injury – can ease isolation, offer encouragement, and provide practical ideas for navigating daily challenges.
Our Connect Groups are welcoming, volunteer-led gatherings held monthly. They’re a chance to:
- Meet others who understand what you’re going through
- Share experiences and encouragement
- Practice new skills in a safe, supportive space
- Build confidence engaging with your community
Groups are relaxed, social, and designed to help you not just cope, but find ways to thrive.
You don’t have to face brain injury alone. We’re here to help you find connection, hope, and support for the journey ahead.
This is an unfacilitated group and only suitable for people living independently in the community.
